Bed & Bone
Hi! I'm Teacher, and my little brother, Bro, and I live at Bed & Bone! We serve as your all-around greeters, tour guides, paw-holders, and advice givers. Many new parents are worried about how their pets will react to their visit at Bed & Bone, so we have compiled the following to help ease parents' minds

Prior to Coming

  1. Please schedule a visit prior to your vacation when you can bring your pet out to visit us. Knowing that Bed & Bone is okay with you will help your pet understand it is okay to be there.
  2. It might help to associate a word with Bed & Bone for your pet. Talk about "going to camp", "going for a trip", or whatever word your pet can associate with Bed & Bone. Be upbeat and positive about the visit.

Dropping Your Pet Off
  1. Please remember to leave plenty of time to drop your dog off or arrange for an early pick-up time. Don't leave it to the last minute where everything will be stressed and rushed.
  2. Try not to get overly emotional. Just say good-bye in a quick manner, with a pat on the head. Tears and emotional good-byes will only cause stress and confusion for your dog. Remember, just as you are going on vacation to have a good time, so will your dog be on vacation.
  3. Have everything ready when we come to pick up your dog or when you drop your dog off.
  4. Regardless of the size of your dog, have him/her on a leash when you drop your dog off. Not all dogs like to be held by new people right away, and there are a lot of other dogs. Leashes lead to peace of mind for both the dog and you.
